The food system starts with our soil and I'm all for a rethink in how we design it.
We’re back at the beginning. The humble start, a place where life itself is renewed and commences. Deep under our feet in a world we cannot see but if you lie down and listen hard you may feel. Hineahuone, goddess of the land below us, soil Atua for Māori. The beginning of the western year, the start of it all, but this time with a deeper cyclical message: it begins with soil, land, earth and how we regenerate this.
